Which Seat Do You Have?

Many different kinds of seats are available for Class 7 and Class 8 trucks; for example, the Bostrom® 9xx series, WideRide, Liberty I and Liberty II; the National Cush-n-aire and 2000 series; the Sears Seating Voyager and Atlas, and the Seats® Inc. Eldorado®, Elcamino®, Heritage, and Legacy.

If you do not know what kind of seat you have, begin by looking on the air suspension under the seat. Usually you will find a label or tag indicating the manufacturer and model. If you cannot find anything, there are distinctive features that will help to determine the seat type.

All Bostrom® seats have a lever on the side to adjust the tilt of the back. They also have a knob beside the cushion to adjust the tilt of the cushion.

National seats have a unique feature in that the cushion can be pulled forward and raised from the rear to access the suspension underneath. A side knob adjusts the tilt of the back.

The Eldorado® and the Elcamino® seats may have the name written across the seat back. The standard Elcamino® cushion is 19 inches wide; the Wide Elcamino® cushion is 21 inches wide. The Heritage Silver cushion is 20 inches wide; the Heritage Gold cushion is 22 inches wide. On all models a side knob adjusts the tilt of the back. On the Elcamino®, Heritage, and Legacy models the cushion can be pulled forward and raised from the rear.

All seats may or may not have armrest(s). All seat covers have cutouts to go around armrests.
